How to Summon The Mechdusa

Ocram's Razor Method

In the "Get fixed boi" seed, traditional summoning items for the mechanical bosses are unusable. Instead, players must craft Ocram's Razor, a unique item exclusive to this seed.

Required Materials:

  • Mechnical Eye (crafted at a Mythril/Orichalcum Anvil using):
    • 6 Lenses: Dropped by Demon or Wandering Eyes.
    • 5 Iron/Lead Bars: Crafted from Iron or Lead Ore at a Furnace.
    • 3 Souls of Light: Collected in the Underground Hallow biome by defeating enemies.
  • Mechanical Worm (crafted at a Mythril/Orichalcum Anvil using):
    • 6 Rotten Chunks (Corruption) or 6 Vertebrae (Crimson): Dropped by enemies in the respective biome.
    • 5 Iron/Lead Bars: Crafted from Iron or Lead Ore at a Furnace.
    • 6 Souls of Night: Obtained by defeating enemies in the Underground Corruption or Crimson biomes.
  • Mechanical Skull (crafted at a Mythril/Orichalcum Anvil using):
    • 30 Bones: Dropped by enemies found in the Dungeon.
    • 5 Iron/Lead Bars: Crafted from Iron or Lead Ore at a Furnace.
    • 3 Souls of Light: Collected in the Underground Hallow biome by defeating enemies.
    • 3 Souls of Night: Obtained by defeating enemies in the Underground Corruption or Crimson biomes.

Craft the Ocram's Razor at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil and use it at night. Note, that the item cannot be used during the day, and summoning will fail if attempted outside nighttime.

Natural Spawn Method

The Mechdusa may also spawn naturally with a 1/20 (5%) chance at dusk after a Demon or Crimson Altar has been destroyed, provided at least one of its constituent bosses has not yet been defeated in the current world.
