Upcoming updates in Lethal Company are often available early as Beta versions, which you can easily access. If you are playing with mods, be aware that some mods might not work with Beta versions of the game, as they may not yet be updated for them.
To get public beta access, find Lethal Company in your Steam library, right-click on it, and go to Properties.
Then go to the "Betas" tab and select "public_beta" on the right. After that, download the update for the game, and you're done.
To restore the game to the original (current) version, just repeat the process and select "none" instead of "public_beta."
