To unlock Random, simply reopen any coffin that you've previously opened on any normal stage, with the Mad Forest and Inlaid Library stages being the best options.

Upon entering any of the normal stages and opening the map, you should see a question mark indicating the location of the coffin. All you have to do then is to walk over the coffin to open it, and you will unlock the secret character, Random.

Unlock Through Spell

If you prefer, you can unlock Random using a cheat code. Simply access the Secrets menu, which you can find in the main menu if you've unlocked The Forbidden Scrolls Of Morbane. Then, enter the code 'igottagettotheedgeofsoul' and you will have Random unlocked.
