How To Unlock The Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane

Introduction

The Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane are a relic found in the challenge stage The Bone Zone, accessible after unlocking Hyper Mode for three stages. This relic permanently unlocks a hidden menu, offering clues to discover secret characters and enabling the player to cast spells, essentially cheats that grant instant access to most unlockable content.

How To Unlock The Relic

To unlock the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane, first, enter the Challenge Stage The Bone Zone. Once inside, open your map; at the bottom, you'll see a question mark indicating where you will have to go.

Note: The question mark moves horizontally back and forth, so remember to periodically check your map to track its current location.

As you approach the question mark, you'll notice a growing rumbling sound. Upon reaching it, you'll discover that the question mark is actually a ball composed of numerous skeletal enemies. This monster, known as Sketamari, becomes stronger and larger as it absorbs enemies it encounters, including Reapers. It's advisable to choose a powerful character to defeat it quickly before it becomes too powerful.

After defeating Sketamari, it will drop the relic known as the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane. Simply walk over it to collect the relic, and you will unlock the Secrets Menu, accessible through the Main Menu.

Tip On Defeating Sketamari

Sketamari won't absorb any enemies if you stay out of its viewing distance or haven't approached it closely. This allows you to confront it when you've leveled up and become strong enough to defeat it more easily.
