To unlock Trouser, simply enter the Moongolow stage and you will find that there are 16 standard stage items located around the spawn. Simply pick all of them up and raise them to max level. After you've done so, leave the stage and you will have Big Trouser unlocked.
Note: It is crucial that you leave the stage by exiting instead of dying, as the Tirajisú passive item loses one level upon death, which will prevent you from unlocking Trouser.
It is recommended that you play as a character like Gains Boros, who has exponential leveling, as this will allow you to level up the passive items more quickly. Additionally, it is better to set the weapon limit to one to avoid the option of leveling up a weapon when you level up.
