Short Guide on How to Unlock the Secret Character Toastie in Vampire Survivors.
To unlock Toastie, you'll first need to cast a spell that unlocks the character Exdash. It's crucial to note that if you've unlocked Exdash by collecting Little Clovers, you will not be able to unlock Toastie. The more difficult way to unlock Toastie is by defeating either The Stalker, The Drowner, or The Trickster. After defeating one of them, Toastie should appear on the screen for half a second, and in that instant, you need to press the Down Arrow + Enter key combination on your keyboard. If executed successfully, a jingle will play, letting you know you have unlocked Toastie.
Below, you will find information about the three enemies you need to defeat to unlock Toastie.
Only appears in the stages Dairy Plant, The Bone Zone, Cappella Magna and Boss Rash and looks like a green version of The Reaper.
In Dairy Plant, Stalker has a 1% chance of spawning at the very start of the round and a 30% chance to spawn at the 8 and 12 minute mark.
In The Bone Zone and in Cappella Magna, Stalker spawns at the 10 minute mark.
In Boss Rash, Stalker spawns at the 11 minute mark.
Killing Stalker can be achieved in a few different ways, those being:
Only appears in the stages Gallo Tower, The Bone Zone, Cappella Magna and Boss Rash and looks like a blue version of The Reaper.
In Gallo Tower, the Giant Enemy Crab boss spawns at the 25 minute mark and if you stand under it for at least 6 seconds, Drowner will spawn.
In The Bone Zone, Drowner spawns at the 20 minute mark as a map event.
In Boss Rash, Drowner spawns at the 11 minute mark.
In Capella Magna, Drowner spawns at the 5 minute mark.
Killing Drowner can be achieved in a few different ways, those being:
Only appears in the stages Inlaid Library, Cappella Magna and Boss Rash and looks like a purple version of The Reaper.
In Inlaid Library, Trickster can be found by a piano due east of the starting area if you enter the stage with Inverse Mode tuned on and have beaten The Director at least once.
In Boss Rash, Trickster spawns at the 11 minute mark.
In Capella Magna, Trickster spawns at the 15 minute mark.
Killing Trickster can be achieved in a few different ways, those being:
The easier way of unlocking Toastie is by going into the Inverse Inlaid Library and then going all the way to the right, past the gold ring, until you find The Trickster next to a piano. At this point, keep going just a little bit further right, and you should hear a strange, childish voice, and see Toastie at the bottom right of your screen. As soon as you hear the voice, you need to press the Down Arrow + Enter key combination on your keyboard. If executed successfully, a jingle will play, letting you know you have unlocked Toastie.
If you prefer, you can unlock Toastie using a cheat code. Simply access the Secrets menu, which you can find in the main menu if you've unlocked The Forbidden Scrolls Of Morbane. Then, enter the code 'tramezzini' after Exdash has been unlocked and you will have Toastie unlocked.
